WORKSHOP RECAP: EATING HEALTHY ON A BUDGET FOR DE PALM TOURS TEAM MEMBERS

On May 21, 2025, De Palm Tours hosted an inspiring and practical workshop titled “Eating Healthy on a Budget” in collaboration with the team from Transition to Health. The session was organized exclusively for our team members as part of our ongoing commitment to employee well-being and personal development.

The workshop provided easy-to-follow strategies for making healthier food choices while staying within budget. Topics included meal prepping, understanding food labels,

 choosing seasonal produce, and planning meals ahead to reduce food waste and save money.

A highlight of the session was a live demonstration on how to prepare a nutritious and affordable quinoa salad. After the demonstration, team members had the chance to try the dish for themselves, showing that healthy eating can be simple, delicious, and accessible.

Each participant also received a helpful toolkit with a sample meal plan, a budget-friendly grocery list, and practical tips to support healthier daily habits.
