On May 31, 2025, De Palm Tours hosted Art for a Greener Tomorrow at the EPI Auditorium as part of its 65th-anniversary celebration. The event brought together 15 classes of 6th graders, each showcasing creative artworks made from recycled and sustainable materials,  a beautiful presentation of how imagination can give new life to everyday items.

The artworks were judged across five key categories: Creativity & Originality, Recycled Material Use, Craftsmanship & Finish, Inspiration & Creative Process, and Environmental Message. A bonus score was also awarded to artworks that reflected De Palm Tours’ 65th-anniversary.

After careful evaluation, Scol Paso pa Futuro 6A claimed first place, winning a full-day experience on De Palm Island, a day of pure fun and relaxation. Pius X School 6B earned second place, receiving tickets to the Atlantis Submarine expedition for an unforgettable underwater adventure, while Colegio San Hose 6B secured third place with a visit to the Butterfly Farm, where students can explore Aruba’s colorful butterflies. To make it even better, all three winning classes received complimentary round-trip transportation.

Each participating student was also awarded a wood-recycled medal, recognizing their outstanding creativity, teamwork, and commitment to sustainability.

A special thank you goes out to our five judges, Nichole Danser (Scrubble Bubbles Foundation), Edwards Jiménez (EcoTech Freezone), Tony Sevold (Metabolic Foundation), Indra Stamper, and Romelinda Maldonado (Local Artists), for their collaboration.

De Palm Tours extends heartfelt gratitude to the students, teachers, families, sponsors, and partners who made this event possible. Together, we continue building a greener tomorrow while inspiring creativity and sustainability among Aruba’s youth.
